- Postdoctoral Research Associate I/II (Data Science)
Description
The University of Arizona’s Center for Innovation in Brain Science (CIBS) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate (I/II) to join our interdisciplinary team advancing precision therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases and women’s brain health.
The successful candidate will leverage large-scale clinical datasets (EHR, claims, biobank data), multi-omics to identify treatment response patterns, subtypes, and critical intervention windows that reduce neurodegenerative disease risk. This position will involve applying machine learning, deep representation learning, and real-world data modeling to stratify risk and optimize precision therapeutic intervention. The candidate must thrive in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced research environment and work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Why join us?
- Work in a nationally recognized NIA-funded research center dedicated to transforming brain health across the lifespan.
- Collaborate with experts in neurology, computational biology, informatics, and translational science.
- Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI/ML approaches, biomedical knowledge graphs, and multi-modal data integration.
Contribute to high-impact publications, grants, and translational research with direct relevance to precision therapeutics.
Thrive in a collaborative environment that values mentorship, career development, and innovation.
